What is your furniture made out of?

We primarily use pine/spruce/knotty pine wood. Depending on the piece there may be other materials such as various metal accents and hardware. A few of our designs incorporate re-purposed pallet and barn wood. Because our furniture is made with real and natural wood, it is susceptible to movement over time based on seasonal changes and the relative humidity in your home. No two pieces are exact replicas of another. Different batches of wood will vary slightly in terms of hardness and how it will accept stain. The amount of knots in the wood also will vary, making each final product unique and with its own character. Our furniture has a big rustic element to it, and in keeping with that style there will be imperfections in the wood. While there is a sanding process, the surfaces will never be perfectly smooth. What we do which is very important to ask when purchasing rustic furniture, is we space our boards to allow for wood movement as well as we stain PRIOR to assembly. If wood moves and your furniture wasn't stained before hand, you will see those unfinished surfaces peaking through.

Do you have a store or show room?

Not currently, maybe some day! All of our pieces are made to order based on photos and descriptions you'll find on facebook, instagram, and this website!

Do you do custom work?

Typically we stick to our own original designs which for the most part can be customized in terms of size and colour to fit your space and taste, We are always coming out with new designs and adding new pieces to our product list! Sometimes we will do custom work depending on the request. If you have a photo of a piece you have found on the internet, you can send us that photo and we can let you know if we can do it or not and give you a quote.

How do I place an order?

Ordering is done by messaging us on facebook or instagram, or by email. We are happy to answer any questions, provide more photos, and discuss options and details. Once you have decided on your piece(s), we will provide you with a final price and an estimated build time.

How do I pay for my order?

A nonrefundable deposit is required at the time of ordering to move forward with the build. The amount required for the deposit depends on the order and will be discussed at that time. The remaining balance is to be paid in full at the time of pickup. We accept etransfers, cash, and credit card at this time.

How do I get my order once it's ready?

It is the customer's responsibility to arrange to have an appropriate vehicle to pick up their order. We are happy to help load your piece(s) into your vehicle. At this time we do not ship our pieces, we offer local pickup. We can deliver within Regina area for a flat $25 fee on all orders, Moosejaw $40 fee on orders over $350 and Saskatoon is a minimum order of $500 with a $70 delivery fee.

How will my order come? Do I put it together? Is it packaged?

Most of our items are already put together in one piece, including some dining table designs. This is why it is important to pay attention to the measurements to ensure you have an appropriate vehicle, and that you will be able to fit your items into your home. Bed frames and some dining table designs are the exception, they come apart for easier transport. Our pieces are not packaged, it is your responsibility to have blankets/straps/etc as needed to safely transport your furniture from our home to yours.

How do I care for my furniture?

Our pieces (on areas susceptible to spills), are double sealed with our favourite matte sealer. This is extremely effective at protecting against water damage and stains from spills. We still advise cleaning up spills ASAP as it is natural wood. Because our pieces are rustic in nature, we feel that nicks and scratches will only add to the character over time, and will often get lost in the beauty of being perfectly imperfect.

What is your return/refund policy?

Because our pieces are made to order, and we are a home based business without a warehouse for storage, we cannot take items back. Please be confident in your decision before ordering. We do our best to provide lots of details and photos and answer any questions before you place your order. If you change your mind and we have not yet started your build, we will of course refund your deposit, otherwise deposits are nonrefundable. If you do not feel comfortable ordering something without being able to see that specific piece in person first, we may not be the right company for you, as at this time we do not have a show room or store.
